York Rite Spring 2016 Festival

york-pinwheel-altThe York Rite Spring 2016 Festival will be broken up into two Saturdays in March so as to give the proper attention to the ritual work rather than rushing to get everything done in one and a half days. Orlando Council No. 5 Welcomes The District Deputy Grand Illustrious Master

At a stated assembly of Orlando Council No. 5 on Thursday, October the 8th, We had a nice turnout of Royal and Select Masters to greet our District Deputy.  His message was well received and the fellowship was wonderful.  Our own Illustrious Master Ed Smallwood provided the dinner for the evening as a thank you for all the work put in by the officers & members of the Council.  We had ribeye steaks, Cheesy potatoes, baked beans, dinner rolls and pecan pie with ice cream for dessert.  All the companions were loosening belts and buttons during the meeting.  If you are a member of the Orlando York Rite Bodies and haven’t been attending, things are changing and you are missing out!  We meet on the 2nd & 4th Thursday every month with a good hot dinner at 6:30 followed by the meeting at 7:30.  KIMG0003

Sandra Moffses Memorial Service

Per Big Rick Overbee – “Our Brother Phillip Moffses has informed us that Sandra’s Honorarium Memorial is scheduled for October 24th at the First Presbyterian Church, downtown Orlando at 10:00AM in the Chapel. This date is their anniversary and the place where they got married. If you can be there, the many appendant bodies, including Eastern Star, Amaranth, and Daughters of White Shrine have been asked to participate. Please mark your calendars accordingly.”
